A Chronicler produces and edits the newsletter for their group. This office of the Chronicler follows the guidelines set forth in the following documents: SCA Chroniclers’ Policies and the Kingdom Chroniclers Police. Our kingdom newsletter is the “Acorn” and our group’s newsletter is called the “Moot Points”. The “Moot Points” is currently published online, but at request a hard copy may be obtained IAW the Kingdom Chroniclers policy. Inside our news letter you will find out about upcoming events, letters from our Baron/Baroness & Officers, what’s being said around the community, Peers answering questions from the populace called “Dear Peer”, Articles from members of the SCA, our last month’s Moot Minutes, Announcements for/from the populace, definitions for our Orders & Guilds, who are our Notables & Appointees, and the Baronial Regnum (a listing of the Baron/Baroness, Officers & their Deputies and how to reach them).

If you wish to have an Article run in our newsletter it must meet the guidelines set forth in the SCA & Kingdom Chroniclers Policies. Here are our added guidelines:
Articles, event information and other submissions should be sent to the Chronicler, no later than the 20th of the prior month. Articles without specified time constraints may be reserved for publication in a later issue. The Chronicler reserves the right to edit all submissions.
